Sol Islets in Sea Chilbo are in the waters off Pochon-ri, Myongchon County.
Not so far from the land, the islets are among the scenic spots of Sea Chilbo in Mt Chilbo, long known as Hambuk Kumgang.
Originally, they were a rock mass, which split in two, moving away from each other over time.
Ryong (dragon) Cave is halfway up the islets.
Oaks, maples and thick groves of pine trees occur on the islets.
For the beautiful scenery and queer-looking shape, the islets count among the most spectacular of scenic spots in Sea Chilbo.
They are of great academic value as well.
